This Policy applies to personal information we collect online (including the Site, forms, and email) and offline (e.g., phone). It does not apply to third-party websites, services, or apps that we do not control.

We collect information that you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information from third parties.

Information you provide directly (examples):

  • Identifiers & contact details: name, email address, phone number, company, job title.
  • Inquiry & project data: messages, requirements, files you upload.
  • Billing & transactions: billing name, address, and limited payment details (processed by our payment processors; we do not store full card numbers).
  • Marketing preferences: newsletter/communication choices.
  • SMS consent: if you opt in to receive text messages from us.

Information collected automatically (examples):

  • Device & usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, timestamps.
  • Cookies & similar tech: pixels, tags, local storage (see “Cookies & Analytics” below).
  • Approximate location derived from IP address.

Information from third parties (examples):

  • Do Not Track: our Site does not currently respond to DNT signals.

8) SMS/Text Messaging (10DLC) Terms

If you provide your mobile number and opt in to receive SMS from RankVisibly:

  • Program: service updates, reminders, and/or marketing messages related to RankVisibly.
  • Frequency: recurring messages; frequency varies.
  • Opt-out: text STOP to end.
  • Help: text HELP or contact contact@rankvisibly.com.
  • Message & data rates may apply.
  • Consent is not a condition of purchase.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9) Data Retention

We retain personal information as long as needed for the purposes described above, to comply with legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, and to resolve disputes. When no longer needed, we will delete or de-identify the data.

10) Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11) International Transfers

If you are located outside the United States, your information may be processed in countries with different data protection laws. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) for such transfers.

Email/SMS marketing: you can opt out at any time (see above).
 EEA/UK residents: subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, portability, and withdraw consent.
 US state residents (e.g., CA, CO, CT, VA, UT): depending on applicability, you may have rights to access, delete, correct, portability, and to opt out of certain targeted advertising or profiling.

Categories collected (see Sections 3–4): identifiers; commercial info; internet/network activity; approximate geolocation; professional info; inferences from usage; and communications.
 Purposes (see Section 4): provide and improve services; communications; security/compliance; marketing (as permitted).
 Sale/Sharing: We do not sell personal information for money. We may allow advertising/analytics partners to collect information via cookies which could be considered “sharing” under CPRA; you can control cookies as described in Section 7 or contact us to exercise rights.
 Sensitive information: not sought; if provided, used only as necessary.
 Retention: see Section 9.
 Non-discrimination: we will not discriminate for exercising rights.

13) Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13 (or 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

14) Third-Party Links & Services

The Site may link to third-party websites/services. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review their policies before providing personal information.

15) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” indicates when it was last updated. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where required, we will notify you.
